RackVerity

Terms of service

1. The service

RackVerity provides racking-inspection data capture, customer/site records, renewal tracking, report generation, local backup and optional cloud, portal, AI and subcontractor services.

2. Professional responsibility

RackVerity structures information recorded by users. It does not inspect racking, certify structural safety, award professional competence or replace the judgement of a suitably competent inspector. The user and, where applicable, the employing or engaging company remain responsible for inspection scope, measurements, classifications, safety actions, report approval and compliance with applicable law, guidance and manufacturer instructions.

3. Accounts and company verification

Organisations control member invitations, roles, permitted inspection types and company-verification decisions. RackVerity records those decisions but does not independently certify the inspector unless a separate written verification service is expressly provided.

4. Subscriptions and report allowances

Subscription features and allowances vary by plan. Drafts, previews, revisions and reprints do not consume an issued-report allowance. A report is counted once when first formally issued. Add-on allowances and fair-use controls may apply.

5. Local data and backups

Solo Local users are responsible for protecting their device and exporting backup ZIP files. Removing the app, clearing device data, losing the device or failing to create backups may permanently remove locally stored information.

6. Cloud and portal data

Cloud services are designed to back up and synchronise authorised information but are not a substitute for sensible business-continuity arrangements. Organisations are responsible for lawful customer and subcontractor data handling and for removing access when no longer required.

7. AI features

AI-generated transcriptions, suggested fields and report text may be incomplete or incorrect. Users must review and confirm all output, particularly locations, measurements, risk classifications, offload status, required actions and customer-facing wording.

8. Acceptable use

Users must not misuse the service, defeat access controls, upload unlawful content, infringe rights, distribute malware, falsify inspection records or present software-generated content as an unreviewed professional determination.

9. Intellectual property

RackVerity software, branding, layouts and original documentation remain the property of Stanton Compliance Software Limited or its licensors. Customers retain ownership of their inspection content, subject to the permissions necessary to operate the selected service.

10. Availability and changes

Services may be updated, suspended for maintenance or changed during the pilot. Beta and pilot features may be incomplete and should not be relied on as the sole safety-management control.

11. Liability

Nothing excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded. Subject to that, any production liability limitations, service credits and insurance requirements will be defined in the legally reviewed commercial terms before paid launch.

12. Cancellation, export and deletion

Users may export available records according to their plan. Cloud cancellation, retention and deletion procedures will be confirmed in the final commercial terms. Historical audit evidence may need to be retained where legally justified.

13. Governing law

The final commercial terms are intended to be governed by the laws of England and Wales, subject to legal review.

14. Contact

Questions may be sent to [email protected].
